TRANSCEND-USA 2nd Annual Conference

It is TRANSCEND Conference time. We have been working with Dr. Johan Galtung to firm up our schedule. A  student unConference will be held the evening of March 30^th followed by our annual conference on March 31^st and April 1^st. This year will be exciting as we expand our reach to look at TRANSCEND across the countries of North America. Below is our basic schedule. Please share this information and let us know if you anticipate attending. We will have a detailed schedule out to you early next week with a formal brochure.

Wednesday, March 30th, 5:00-9:00 PM: Student Un-Conference

Thursday, March 31^st, 8”00 AM-6:00 PM:

Morning: Keynote, Mexico, U.S., Canada Panel followed by discussion and brainstorming; Lunch

Afternoon: Working Groups (Topics—Mexico/U.S./Canada relations; Violence-- at the border; Public Policy)

Friday, April1^st, 8”00 AM-6:00 PM:

Morning: Working Groups--Complete work and report back

Lunch with Discussion: Where do we go from here?

Afternoon: Annual Meeting
