Dr. Howard Zehr, the “godfather of restorative justice,” presented the talk “Why Restorative Justice?” Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. in Jackson Library’s Jarrell Lecture Hall. The event talk was preceded by an afternoon discussion with both undergraduate honors students from
Lloyd International Honors College and
International Programs Center on "Finding and Using Your Passion for Justice." On Friday he met with graduate students from
The Conflict Studies and Dispute Resolution Program and several departments within the
School of Human Environmental Sciences for seminars and a luncheon. All of the above named programs co-sponsored Dr. Zehr's visit. More photos and information on the visit to come. You can visit
Dr. Zehr's blog to find out his latest thoughts, read reviews of books and articles, and see some of his stunning photography.
